Weekly Fun Fly
Sunday Morning -
Winter Fly - September to May - Fly at 10am
Tom Doe Park at the end of Henderson St. in Atlantic Beach. This is just East of the Sands Villa Resort.
Summer Fly - June, July, August - at 9am
Fort Macon, meet west of the parking area on the beach, near the jetty. As the summer weather heats up, please bring water and appropriate sun protection.
As with all Kite Events, wind and weather can impact success. Check our Facebook page Sunday am for weather report and last minute changes.
Carolina Kite Fest XXXVII
The Fest has evolved into a free and fun gathering of kite flyers and their friends. The 2024 event will be held Oct. 26-27, from 10 - 4 both days. As with all Kite events, local weather will be taken into account and there may be a night fly on Saturday evening at dusk. The Atlantic Beach Location will be announced closer to the event.
Carolina Spring Kite Gathering
A gathering of Kite Flyers will be held in March 9th and 10th of 2024 on the Beach near the Tom Doe beach access in Atlantic Beach. Check back here or on our Facebook page for more information as it is announced.
